About The Position

We are hiring a Sales Coordinator in Edmonton to support our sales teams and manage various administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. With a “Can Do” attitude, this position will assist the Account Managers with all aspects of customer requirements to provide the best total solution unique to each customer’s needs.

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required for this position.
  • Knowledge of computer software i.e. MS Office
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics operations and the general construction industry

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Punjabi and Hindi would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge in the application of engineered wood product (I-joist, LVL and truss) systems, stairs, tall wall, and conventional lumber packages would be considered an asset
  • Experience in the rough framing and construction process would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of sales and marketing programs
  • Schedule all orders with Production Scheduler to meet customer expectations
  • Prepare files as required for Account Managers
  • Provide telephone support to customers
  • Assist Account Managers with invoicing issues
  • Prepare and process sales orders and/or quotes received from Account Managers and customers
  • Ability to research, prospect, identify and qualify clients that fit with our marketing strategies
  • Identify shortcomings in customer’s business process and through technical leadership, set us into a position of key supplier/partner
