Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management systems (CI/TY)
  • Creative mindset with a passion for hospitality and marketing.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate account history and client data entry within CI/TY, GXP or booking platforms.
  • Assist with revenue analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Create room blocks in PMS system, enter rooming lists, create group booking codes.
  • Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with conference services, sales, hotel departments, and clients to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all event phases.
  • Manage banquet and meeting space for assigned groups, ensuring optimal utilization of event space blocks in CI/TY
  • Update group bookings with actualized data
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges before and during events in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Execute on-property marketing needs, including signage, collateral, and promotional materials to support events and campaigns.
  • Partner with the corporate marketing team to execute marketing initiatives
