About The Position

The Sales Coordinator is primarily responsible for administrative support of the company’s overall sales efforts. This role is vital to the company’s ability to achieve its revenue goals. This position is typically the first point of contact in the sales cycle. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related areas.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as detailed instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust plans to meet changing needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background check if required, and must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or equivalent with 5+ years' experience in a related field of Sales Support.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce.com
  • Experience interpreting construction documents such as Floor plans, elevations, standard details and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Receive quote requests from customers.
  • Download requests, plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Interpret and organize elements of quote requests.
  • Organize electronic quote files.
  • Work directly with customers to ensure accuracy an completeness of information provided.
  • Maintain quote schedule and log while ensuring sales reps are properly identified and logged.
  • Communicate expected quote completion dates directly to customers and reps.
  • Track project award dates and update as required.
  • Provide Sales Manager with weekly quote tracking and assist with direct follow-up with customers.
  • Receive LOI/PO from customer and process new orders.
  • Create electronic and physical job folders.
  • Ensure organization and completeness of job folders for hand-off to drafting department.
  • Assist Sales Manager with preparations of presentations and reports.
  • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, dependable, and flexible to potential schedule changes to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
  • Executes each essential duty satisfactorily to perform job successfully.
  • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
  • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
  • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
  • Follows all department quality standards/criteria.
  • Raises concerns and issues to management.
  • Understands department’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.
  • Other duties as needed or required.
  • Provide TOP TIER customer service to dealers and sales representatives
  • Some travel in support of Sales Manager attendance at Trade Shows and meetings may be required
