About The Position

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and supporting sales activities, assisting in maintaining customer relationships and coordinating administrative tasks to contribute to the overall success of the sales teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of basic marketing and sales principles to effectively promote the facility.
  • Knowledge of the health care and senior living industry, particularly regarding assisted living services and amenities.
  • Awareness of local community resources and networks that can serve as referral sources or partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with potential residents, their families and community partners.
  • Organizational multitasking skills to manage various tasks and events efficiently.
  • Problem solving skills to address challenges that arise during the sales and customer service processes.
  • Technical skills, including proficiency with CRM (Customer Relations Management) systems, Microsoft Office suite and the ability to adapt new software tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor in all interactions promoting a favorable image of the facility.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and change strategies as needed based on performance metrics and feedback.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and event outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the facility services.
  • Support and conduct tours and informational sessions for prospective residents and their families under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Help build and maintain relationships with local health care providers, senior centers, and community organizations to support a referral network.
  • Handle inquiries and assist with follow-ups with potential residents, aiding them in the decision-making process.
  • Participate in organizing community events and open houses to increase facility visibility.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on sales performance under the supervision of senior sales staff.
  • Support the management team and aligning sales strategies with the facility's operational goals.
  • Ensure high quality customer service to uphold the facility's positive reputation.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and transactions with potential current residents.
  • Support the creation of promotional materials like brochures and flyers to help marketing efforts.
