About The Position

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of group reservations in a timely and accurate manner. This role involves completing projects as required by the Director of Catering and Director of Sales, answering telephones for the Sales and Catering staff, greeting guests, preparing coupons and breakfast vouchers, creating personalized online group pages, posting Hilton Honors and Airline Miles points, handling mail and checks, attending Sales Meetings and taking minutes, managing the Sales checkbook, logging invoices/expenses, sending daily reports, creating advertisements, and performing other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Professional demeanor, initiative, and excellent communication are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all group reservations aspects in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete projects in a timely manner as required by the Director of Catering and Director of Sales.
  • Answer the telephones for Sales and Catering staff when they are not in the office and take messages.
  • Greet appointments and other guests and notify appropriate staff.
  • Prepare coupons and breakfast vouchers for groups.
  • Create Personalized online group page (POG).
  • Post Hilton Honor, Airline Miles points through OnQ Insider.
  • Open and distribute mail daily, log and drop off all the checks.
  • Attend Sales Meetings and take minutes.
  • Manage Sales checkbook and log in all the invoices/expenses.
  • Send out daily reports in Delphi.
  • Create advertisements in Photoshop for upcoming events.
