About The Position

The Holiday Inn Dedham is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their amazing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's function by assisting the director and other managers with clients and hotel personnel in the handling of sales accounts. The Sales Coordinator will process letters, proposals, and contracts accurately and in a timely manner, answer telephones in accordance with standards, and maintain filing, tracing, and office services in accordance with normal operating procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent
Previous administrative assistance experience in hotels or other offices preferred
Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel
Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus. Examples: OPERA, OnQ

Responsibilities

Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
Manage and prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring accurate processing and distribution to relevant departments
Maintain organized filing systems, log account information, and handle correspondence efficiently to support seamless hotel operation
Resolve issues related to pricing, menu descriptions, banquet facilities, guarantees, and seating charts
Monitor and order necessary office supplies
Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offering
