About The Position

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience supporting sales operations, managing customer orders, and coordinating activities in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate order execution, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience, including handling customer purchase orders and contracts.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with multiple business systems and software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service or sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with MRP systems.
  • Basic knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Experience supporting customers in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute customer quotes, orders, and order management activities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Coordinate order requirements through MRP systems and other business tools.
  • Manage customer purchase orders and contractual agreements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external customer communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure timely communication and coordination to meet customer requirements.
  • Support training initiatives, testing activities, and special projects.
  • Represent the organization professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Adapt to changing customer needs across multiple markets and business segments.
