Factory Direct Partners (FDP) is, first and foremost, a factory-led organization . With more than 20 years of manufacturing experience , FDP specializes in the development and production of children’s furniture and products, including upholstered furniture, soft play and seating, tables, and chairs. Our focus is on manufacturing excellence paired with strong customer service from concept through delivery. FDP employs 200+ manufacturing professionals across two 80,000‑square‑foot facilities in Tijuana, Mexico , supported by a U.S. headquarters in San Diego, California (Old-Town area) . Our in‑house capabilities include CAD Design & Engineering, Compliance and Quality Assurance, Procurement and Sourcing, and Prototyping , enabling full control over product development, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Opportunity (This is not a remote position) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support dealer, marketplace, and internal sales operations. This role is critical to ensuring product accuracy, account health, compliance execution, and a best‑in-class customer experience across key sales channels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems, Salsify, Airtable, online marketplaces, and a willingness to leverage AI tools is a plus.
  • Prior experience in office administration, sales support, customer service, or e‑commerce operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Dealer & Marketplace Account Support: Support both traditional dealer relationships and large marketplace/retail platforms by maintaining accurate product data, monitoring account health, and resolving operational issues.
  • Assist with managing and maintaining product listings for dealers (resellers) and marketplace accounts.
  • Daily monitoring of top products to ensure listings are live and purchasable.
  • Troubleshoot item suppressions/missing listings, correct and document fixes.
  • Support setup and updates in customer portals and marketplace accounts such as Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Wayfair Extranet, and Sam’s Club/Walmart IDM.
  • Help ensure new items are correctly listed with accurate copy and imagery.
  • Run reports and track performance metrics for assigned accounts.
  • Enter and track support case tickets related to listings, account health, and support.
  • Monitor dealer report cards and chargeback metrics; support the team with submitting disputes and documenting process improvements to reduce or eliminate future charges.
  • Confirm customer published lead times (SLA) match internal ERP database.
  • Track and report on account health indicators including listing status, chargebacks, SLA alignment, and compliance submissions.
  • Assist with submitting and tracking customer‑required compliance documentation through customer portals.
  • Monitor and appeal rejected compliance submissions, correcting issues and resubmitting promptly.
  • Sales & Marketing Support Assist with new customer onboarding including processing dealer applications, creating customer cards and contacts, requesting routing guides, and sharing images and content.
  • Support product launches by setting up new items, creating product information sheets, and assisting with dealer communications.
  • Organizing and auditing product information management platform (Salsify) including data imports, copy, and digital assets.
  • Annual customer audits for contacts, shipping accounts, routing guides, pricing etc.
  • Answer inbound questions from dealers, retailers, and customers promptly with professionalism.
  • Monitor sales department phone, website, and email accounts, responding with urgency to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Provide support during customer meetings by preparing materials and helping follow up on action items and create custom Salsify catalogs as requested.
  • Coordinate shipping of samples and packages from the San Diego office.
  • Research and organize returned items in the San Diego office; coordinate donation pick-ups or sample sales as needed.
  • Assist with tradeshow coordination, samples, shipments, and marketing materials.
  • Help with product photoshoots, ordering samples, requesting and filing model releases, product and set staging.
  • Office Administration Coordinate general office operations and organization; scheduling team lunches, group meetings, and occasional team-building activities.
  • Order office supplies, equipment, and snacks as needed; assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
