About The Position

Nova 401(k) Associates is a rapidly growing TPA firm seeking to expand its presence by adding to its dynamic sales team in key metropolitan areas, including Boston, MA. This is a full-time position for an energetic and self-motivated individual looking for an opportunity to demonstrate their sales capabilities. The company provides consulting and pension administration services for various qualified retirement plans such as 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and Cash Balance/Defined Benefit Plans. They actively target retirement plan advisors and major record-keepers to deliver superior retirement plan services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Sales experience (related or not); preferably internal or external wholesaling
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proven sales ability a plus; must be able to move the needle
  • Strong ability to build relationships and create partnerships
  • Confident presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of retirement industry products and services for our respective market space is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify Investment professionals in assigned region to promote Nova services
  • Participate in point-of-sale presentations to plan sponsors to represent Nova’s solutions
  • Maintain frequent contact with key producers through on-site visits, seminars, webinars, conference calls, and other presentation media
  • Understand the competitive industry environment; identify and analyze market trends while providing recommendations and feedback to the management team
  • Build and service strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our intermediary partners
  • Travel to offsite periodic sales training
