The New Home Sales Consultant position is in the Ottawa region, reporting Thursday - Monday to the Sales Office. Travel to site and competitors is required. Infrequent travel to the GTA region will be required. Additional Notes Extended periods at a computer may be required at times. Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven Sales Experience - Bonus points if you’ve sold homes, cars, or anything over $500 without breaking a sweat
  • Strong Communication Skills - You can explain mortgage rates without putting people to sleep, and translate builder technical jargon into human language
  • Customer Relationship Mastery - You keep track of what matters most - timelines, preferences and yes, even the dog’s name
  • Time Management & Organization - Because juggling 20+ leads, 5 follow-ups, 3 Model Home Tours to you is just a “Tuesday”
  • Weekend Warrior - Weekends are when the magic (and the sales) happen – so yes, you’ll be working them
  • Resilience - Ghosted leads don’t haunt you. You follow up anyway.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Meet/Exceed Annual New Home Sales Targets
  • Represent Caivan as the first point of contact for potential home buyers
  • Provide excellence in customer service by guiding prospective purchasers through the Caivan offering, and educating them on the next steps of their homebuying journey
  • Find, motivate and build long-term relationships with potential home buyers by prospecting, building broker relationships, obtaining qualified referrals, cultivating leads and participating in special marketing & promotional events
  • Complete sales reports on a daily & weekly basis
  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Compiles feedback regarding competition and market condition for analysis and provides to senior leadership
  • Monitors to ensure that sales contracts are written and in proper order.
  • Gather and validate mortgage commitments for all buyers
  • Ensure all buyers are FINTRAC compliant
  • Guides customer though the homeowner journey
  • Compete & explain the Agreement of Purchase & Sale with customers
  • Implements and maintains realtor outreach program and coordinates Sales Team involvement
  • Assist in the supervision of Sales Associates, being the senior employee on the Sales Floor
  • Ensure Sales Gallery and Model Homes are in pristine condition, reporting deficiencies to Leadership
