About The Position

Volkswagen of Tacoma is seeking Sales Consultants who are motivated, disciplined, and ready to build a long-term career in automotive sales. This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with structured follow-up, customer engagement, and performance-based income.

Requirements

Strong communication and professionalism
Goal-oriented and consistent work ethic
Comfortable following a structured sales process
Ability to manage multiple customer interactions daily
High school diploma or GED equivalent; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience
Available to work flexible hours & weekends.
Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product ins & outs.
Effective communication skills
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
Basic mathematical aptitude
Ability to apply and understand reasoning.
Clean driving record, with valid driver license.
Willing to submit to a background check & drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Engage customers in-store, online, and over the phone
Match customers with Volkswagen vehicles that fit their needs
Clearly explain features, value, and ownership benefits
Maintain consistent follow-up on leads and appointments
Build long-term customer relationships for repeat and referral business
