About The Position

The Sales Consultant services retail stores and manages an established sales territory. The role includes selling, customer service, merchandising, administration, and keeping accounts receivable up to date. The territory covers North Palm Beach, specifically Palm Beach Garden Road and areas north.

Requirements

BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Results- and goals-driven.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.

Nice To Haves

Prior route sales experience is highly preferred.
Local candidates are preferred; no relocation package is offered.

Responsibilities

Maintain consistent contact with customers.
Plan and execute sales initiatives.
Resolve customer-related issues promptly and courteously.
Understand products and pricing schedules.
Deliver effective sales presentations.
Meet assigned company objectives and grow business.
Identify and develop new accounts.
Use available point-of-sale materials to support sales.
Apply merchandising standards to displays, shelves, cold boxes, counters, windows, and other consumer-facing areas.
Follow required steps when making sales calls.
Conduct reliable inventory checks and communicate to minimize ordering errors.
Rotate products on shelves, in cold boxes, and in displays.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
