About The Position

Stand Strong Fencing of Southlake is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Consultant to help grow our residential fencing business throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area. This is a field-based sales role focused on meeting with homeowners, understanding their fencing needs, developing accurate estimates and proposals, recommending the right solutions, and closing business. Sales Consultants will work opportunities generated through company marketing while also building their own pipeline through referrals, networking, canvassing, door knocking, cloverleafing around active and completed projects, and local relationship building. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the entire sales process, from the first customer conversation through the completed sale, while maintaining disciplined follow-up and an organized pipeline. Candidates must be local to DFW and comfortable traveling throughout our Southlake, Fort Worth, Arlington, and surrounding service territories for in-person sales appointments.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience in home services or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person consultations with homeowners.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and remain accountable for results.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable developing new business rather than relying exclusively on company-provided leads.
  • Experience using CRM systems, mobile applications, email, estimating software, and other digital tools.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and company systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be local to the Dallas Fort Worth area and able to travel throughout the company’s service territory.
  • Stand, walk, and sit for varying periods of time.
  • Walk residential properties and uneven terrain.
  • Bend, reach, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance when necessary to inspect or measure project areas.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Drive throughout the DFW area for customer appointments and business development.
  • Occasionally handle product samples, display materials, or gates weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

  • Develop repeat business and referral opportunities from customers.
  • Work company-generated leads from our marketing channels.
  • Build a self-generated pipeline through referrals, networking, and local business development.
  • Conduct neighborhood canvassing and door knocking when appropriate.
  • Cloverleaf around active and recently completed projects to identify nearby opportunities.
  • Build relationships with homeowners, real estate professionals, property managers, builders, businesses, and other potential referral partners.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Stand Strong Fencing’s presence throughout the local market.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors, neighborhood activity, and relevant market trends.
  • Manage assigned and self-generated opportunities from initial contact through close.
  • Maintain accurate and current information in FenceFlow and other company systems.
  • Document customer information, project details, appointment outcomes, estimates, lead status, follow-up activity, and relevant notes.
  • Maintain a clear and organized pipeline so opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
