About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Sales Consultant for their Employee Health & Benefits team. This role involves consultative selling to mid-market companies (50-1000 employees). The primary focus is on growing and developing a profitable book of business, which includes assessing and recommending Employee Health & Benefit services, retaining and satisfying existing clients, and acquiring new clients. The company offers business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions. MMA combines local service with the global resources of Marsh McLennan.

Requirements

Proven success in prospecting and outside B2B (business-to-business) selling.
Ability to ask the right questions to foster credibility quickly and align offerings with client needs.
Experience in the midmarket (companies with 50 - 1000 employees).
Ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders, including C-Suite business partners.
Must be assertive yet consultative.

Nice To Haves

BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Prior industry experience strongly desirable.
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce a plus.
