Sales Consultant - Construction
About The Position
Eikenhout is a wholesale distributor of exterior building products with ten locations throughout Michigan and over 130 years in business. We are seeking a Sales Consultant for the Greater Lansing area to sell exterior building solutions to existing and prospective contractors. This role requires building relationships based on trust, professionalism, and expert knowledge, working closely with the Lansing branch and vendors to ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is high-energy, possesses a strong work ethic, and has strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
Requirements
- Proven track record in acquiring new business in a goal-oriented sales environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers
- Demonstrated attention to detail and follow through
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Responsibilities
- Selling exterior building solutions to existing and prospective contractors.
- Establishing relationships with customers based on trust, professionalism, and expert knowledge.
- Working closely with the Lansing branch and vendors to ensure the best customer service.
