This position is for a Sales Clerk with an intermittent work schedule, meaning 0-19 hours per week. The role involves welcoming customers, maintaining product knowledge, assisting with merchandise selection, and addressing customer concerns promptly. Responsibilities include selling merchandise, providing outstanding customer service, potentially demonstrating technical features of items, taking periodic stock counts, participating in inventories, replenishing stock, and maintaining merchandise presentation. The Sales Clerk will also advise supervisors of customer requests. Additionally, the role involves handling various payment methods (cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, gift cards), operating a cash register, balancing the till, and accounting for all sales. Other duties may include performing price changes, setting up company promotions, ensuring proper display and signage, and changing item labels. The position also requires adherence to Loss Prevention policies, awareness of shrink, and following all safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements. Weekend work is required.
