About The Position

The Store Clerk provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers and supports store operations. The position processes sales transactions, prices and displays merchandise, maintains product stock levels, keeps the store clean and orderly, and engages customers in the organization’s mission. The role is part-time at the Stanley Retail Store in Stanley, Virginia, with an hourly rate of $12.77.

Requirements

Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background or drug screenings.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, offer assistance, ask customers to round up their purchases to support the mission, and thank them for their purchases.
Operate the cash register and follow money-handling procedures.
Assist with store displays and organize products to enhance the shopping experience.
Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash cans, and keeping hangers and racks orderly.
Follow required safety and security procedures.
Comply with company and store policies and procedures, including opening and closing tasks, pricing, markdowns, and timely, accurate paperwork.
Complete opening and closing tasks as necessary and complete pricing, markdowns, and daily paperwork.
Receive and verify merchandise and maintain adequate stock levels.
Price products and rotate stock as instructed by management.
Participate in required training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
