Force Factor is seeking a Summer 2027 Sales & Business Development Intern to assist the Sales Team with business development and growth opportunities within FDMC (Food, Drug, Mass, Club) retailers. The internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development, with interns actively contributing to the company's growth on impactful projects. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, Masters, or MBA program at an accredited institution. This opportunity is open to all students, from first-year students to seniors, MS students, or MBA students.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e., work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, using tools such as Excel, to generate insights and make informed decisions.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills to work cross-functionally with various departments.
  • A performance-focused, results-oriented approach - you will need a strong work ethic and drive to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Data: Utilize Excel, Nielsen, and IRI data to conduct in-depth analysis, uncovering key insights and trends that drive strategic decision-making and storytelling.
  • Manage Broker Relationships: Collaborate daily with brokers to streamline communication, ensure timely follow-ups, and meet project deadlines, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Foster Creative Solutions: Contribute to the development of product assortment strategies and design engaging in-store displays, enhancing visual appeal and driving retail partner success.
  • Conduct Competitor Analysis: Perform comprehensive market research to monitor competitors, identifying opportunities and strategies to maintain and enhance our market position.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and Science & Innovation to support and integrate business development efforts across the organization.
  • Engage with Retail Buyers: Participate in meetings with retail partners to observe and learn about the sales process, gaining hands-on experience in pitching and negotiation.
  • AI Utilization: Leverage Claude to support work across all assigned responsibilities: conducting research, synthesizing data, drafting and refining content, brainstorming ideas, and identifying opportunities to share useful AI applications with the broader team.
