Sales Development Intern (Summer 2027)
About The Position
Relay is seeking motivated and ambitious final year undergraduate students for paid Sales Internships. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in prospecting, sales, CRM management, data enhancement tools, startup culture, and industry knowledge. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation. As a key member of the Sales department, you will support operational functions including account research, market research, lead generation, data analysis, and data entry. This role provides valuable experience and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- A minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on potential clients and existing accounts to gather relevant information and insights for the sales team.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and cold outreach.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to optimize strategies.
- Accurately input and maintain data in CRM systems and other databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility for the team.
