We have an opportunity for a Sales & BD Manager Biogas & CO2 to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will lead commercial growth for our Biogas Upgrading and CO₂ Recovery & Liquefaction solutions across the United States of America. This role will focus on developing strategic customer relationships, building a qualified project pipeline, establishing partnerships with developers and EPC contractors, and positioning Pentair SPS as a preferred partner in the RNG and Bio-CO₂ markets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, Energy Technology, or a related field.
Willingness to travel throughout the country (approximately 40-60%).
Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree (MBA or technical discipline) preferred.
Experience in biogas, RNG, renewable energy, industrial gases, wastewater treatment, or related industries strongly preferred.
Proven track record of developing new markets, building partnerships, and securing complex industrial projects.
Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver annual sales, order intake, and pipeline targets for SPS biogas and CO₂ solutions in the USA.
Develop and execute the SPS commercial growth strategy.
Build and manage a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
Develop strategic relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and investors.
Create and execute strategic account plans for key target customers.
Promote SPS Bio-CO₂ and related growth platforms to increase customer value and Pentair content.
Lead commercial negotiations and support project handovers to execution teams.
Represent Pentair at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events.
Monitor market trends, incentives, regulations, and competitive developments.
