About The Position

We are working with a European defense technology company expanding its presence in Ukraine. We are looking for a Country Manager Ukraine to lead business development and sales in the country, build relationships across the Ukrainian defense ecosystem and serve as the key connection between frontline users and the international team. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong credibility and an existing network within Ukrainian defense.

Requirements

Strong existing network and credibility within the Ukrainian defense / military ecosystem
Hands-on business development and sales experience
Experience in defense, defense tech, dual-use or a comparable high-tempo environment
Ability to build relationships and convert them into commercial opportunities
Strong understanding of the Ukrainian defense and procurement environment
Ability to operate independently with high ownership and discretion
Native Ukrainian and professional working English
Based in Ukraine and able to work from Kyiv, or willing to relocate

Nice To Haves

Military service or veteran background
Experience with drones, UAS or C-UAS
Existing relationships with brigades, military units or procurement stakeholders
Experience selling or deploying defense technology in Ukraine

Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with MOD, frontline brigades, military units and the defense procurement ecosystem
Drive business development and sales, turning existing interest and LoIs into orders
Own the in-country sales cycle and develop new commercial opportunities
Coordinate product demonstrations and field trials with military operators
Collect frontline feedback and translate it into commercial and product insights
Support local production and operational partners
Identify and develop new local partnerships
Represent the company at relevant Ukrainian defense events and meetings
