About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate is employed by Noor Staffing Group, representing Hickory Farms, and works at Hickory Farms seasonal retail locations. The role delivers customer service, drives sales, and supports a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and achievement of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. The position is seasonal and based in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local travel to other store locations may be required. The role involves continuous movement and standing, including standing for at least two consecutive hours, as well as walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products. The position is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by applicable law.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.

- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform continuous movement, walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Drive sales by actively engaging customers and showcasing products.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide outstanding service to support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash-handling policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
- Follow safety protocols and report injuries, hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager immediately.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow dress-code standards and wear the provided apron at all times.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Travel locally to other store locations if additional Sales Associates are needed there.
