About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, which represents Hickory Farms. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and achievement of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. The position is seasonal and takes place in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may encounter varying temperatures, weather conditions, and occasional hazards. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional sales associates are needed. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products; the position is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by applicable law.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to customer concerns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform continuous movement, walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and offer personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Actively engage customers, showcase products, and drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide outstanding service to support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
- Follow safety protocols and report injuries, hazards, and incidents immediately to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
- Follow dress-code standards and wear the provided apron while on duty.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
