About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of the store’s product areas and adherence to the policies, procedures, and standards in the visual manual. The Sales Associate promotes sales and promotions, represents the organization and brand, and creates a positive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The role focuses on outstanding customer service and merchandise promotion.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player with a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers as they enter and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance in the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accurate and effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
