About The Position
Michael Kors is seeking a fashion-minded Sales Associate to work in a creative, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on achieving sales goals and building lasting client relationships by delivering a high level of customer service and following company policies, procedures, and directives. The position supports sales generation, client service, and store operations. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, demonstrating merchandise knowledge, assisting clients with purchases and follow-up requests, maintaining client relationships, resolving complaints, keeping the selling floor and stockroom organized, supporting inventory and shipping activities, and completing register functions. The associate is also expected to follow the work schedule and participate in training and development activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales goals and use elevated sales and service standards to maximize sales performance.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of merchandise and maintain an interest in fashion and market trends.
- Monitor post-sale details, including shipping, alterations when applicable, and special requests.
- Follow sales-related policies and procedures.
- Provide the highest level of customer service and build repeat clientele using the client book.
- Resolve client problems and complaints quickly and effectively.
- Keep the selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked.
- Assist with maintaining inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
- Assist with stock, shipping, receiving, and related paperwork in accordance with company protocols and policies.
- Participate in inventories and follow Point-of-Sale policies and procedures.
- Execute relevant register functions properly.
- Adhere to the work schedule, including time and attendance requirements.
- Participate in relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store management.
