About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by executing Perry Ellis customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers as they enter the store, helping them find products or explaining how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. Associates are expected to support sales goals, maintain a positive store experience, and follow operational and visual standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a courteous, friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
• Generate sales in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
• Build a repeat customer base through effective Perry Ellis Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
• Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
• Maintain floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
• Remain productive throughout the shift, using idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, and engage with customers.
• Report to work on time and demonstrate flexibility with the schedule.
• Understand individual and store sales goals.
• Follow operational policies and procedures.
• Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
