The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by following Perry Ellis customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find products or understand how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. Responsibilities
- Interact with customers in a courteous, friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
- Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
- Build a repeat customer base through PE Loyalty Program data capture.
- Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
- Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
- Remain productive throughout the shift, using idle time to replenish products, maintain visual displays, and engage with customers.
- Report to work on time consistently.
- Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
- Understand individual and store sales goals.
- Follow all operational policies and procedures.
- Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
- Greet customers, help them find products or learn how to use them, and ring up purchases on the POS register.
