About The Position
The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by executing the company’s customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them locate products or understand how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. Associates are expected to support a positive store experience, maintain product and visual displays, and follow store policies and management guidance. This is a seasonal, part-time position. The hourly base salary is $18.50–$18.75, with the amount offered determined by the Company based on the candidate’s qualifications. Other benefits associated with the position may be available to eligible associates; specific benefits are not listed.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
- Generate sales in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
- Build a repeat customer base through PE Loyalty Program data capture.
- Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
- Maintain floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
- Remain productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
- Report to work on time.
- Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
- Understand individual and store sales goals.
- Follow operational policies and procedures.
- Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
