About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate works at Hickory Farms retail locations and is employed by Noor Staffing Group, which represents Hickory Farms. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and achievement of personal and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and high service standards. The role is seasonal and reports to the Seasonal Store Manager. The position is performed in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may encounter varying temperatures, weather conditions, and occasional hazards. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional sales associates are needed. The position requires continuous movement and standing, including the ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours, as well as walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions. Associates may exert up to 42 pounds of force occasionally, 25–35 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Pay is $17.50–$18.75 per hour. The seasonal role is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by applicable state or federal law. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach customers, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Actively engage customers and showcase products to drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to keep the store attractive and well maintained.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously.
- Provide outstanding service to support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow company cash-handling policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
- Maintain safety awareness and follow safety protocols.
- Immediately report injuries, safety hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow dress code standards and wear the provided apron while on duty.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
- Travel locally to other store locations if additional sales associates are needed.
