About The Position
The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor creates a memorable shopping experience for customers and helps guide them through beauty products and services, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Cosmoprof provides product knowledge and training, while the associate contributes passion and personality. The role involves building customer relationships, recommending products, sharing information about promotions and loyalty programs, accurately processing transactions, maintaining store presentation, and communicating inventory issues. A range of working schedules and hours is available.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
- The role involves long periods of standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities, and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
- The role involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines and may occasionally expose the associate to irritant chemicals, fumes, and odors.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
- Recommend additional and complementary products.
- Inform customers about current promotions and events.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
- Inform customers about the Loyalty program and enroll them.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
- Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
