About The Position

The Sales Associate works at Goodwill NCW’s Ashwaubenon store in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role supports customer satisfaction and store operations by processing purchases accurately, sharing information about customer programs, assisting shoppers, and maintaining merchandise displays and a clean, safe work area. The position is performed primarily in a retail backroom or warehouse environment with frequent team member contact and interruptions.

Requirements

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with computers, or willingness and ability to learn.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, and maintain regular, timely attendance according to the assigned schedule.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately scan tickets and process customer payments while following cash-handling standards.
• Educate customers about the Round Up program and inform them about the Good Points program to support program goals.
• Answer telephone calls professionally and operate the paging system.
• Ensure items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in line with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Help customers locate items or seek assistance for them when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; complete opening and closing checklists and support general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
