About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and builds customer relationships through excellent customer service and selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position.

The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and replenishment, follows visual standards, and helps keep the store organized and orderly. The role also includes complying with company policies, participating in service and product training, and helping prevent employee and customer theft.

Requirements

• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify appropriate merchandise for customers while meeting DTLR standards and building customer relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression.
• Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Assist in eliminating employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
