About The Position

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with excellent customer service as the primary function. Duties may include greeting customers, cashier responsibilities, answering product-related questions, product assembly, general housekeeping, and other duties assigned by the manager. Extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing and accessories are needed. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing and accessories.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge of and/or experience with FFL requirements for the sale of firearms is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with customer service questions while they shop.
Price store merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
Assist with cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
Handle cash accurately.
Handle customer returns.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
