About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by executing the company’s customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find products or explaining how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. The associate supports sales goals, creates a positive store experience, maintains product and visual displays, and follows operational procedures and management guidance.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate sales in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through effective PE Loyalty Program data capture.
Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Stay productive throughout the shift by replenishing products, maintaining visual displays, and engaging with customers during idle time.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
