About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including promptly and cordially greeting customers, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by helping customers make buying decisions, demonstrating products, and maintaining product knowledge. The position works under general supervision and follows established procedures while occasionally using independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally move or lift objects up to 100 pounds or more using a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, and world-class customer service to create a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers and provide information, assistance, and direction.
• Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
