About The Position

The Sales Associate represents Club Pilates to potential clients, attracts new prospects and members, and closes sales for memberships, private training, teacher training, and retail merchandise. The role also focuses on retaining current members through excellent customer service. A fitness background is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong sales background are ideal.

Requirements

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Goal-oriented, with the ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
• Hearing sufficient to understand conversations in person and over the telephone.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Fitness background preferred but not required.
• Strong sales background is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Execute the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing.
• Conduct studio tours, build relationships, and identify prospective members’ needs and wants.
• Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production.
• Emphasize and enforce the studio’s objectives as a fitness and wellness provider.
• Present available services to current or prospective members.
• Book quality appointments to achieve the monthly sales quota.
• Participate in special events, including health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events, to promote the club.
• Develop selling skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
