About The Position

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate presents a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression to customers; follows company policies and visual standards; and helps keep the sales floor and store organized. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds. Associates may need to work extended hours during critical project phases and must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Sell appropriate merchandise by applying basic fashion and trend knowledge, addressing customer needs, and building customer relationships.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic attitude toward customers, the job, and the company.
• Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs as directed.
• Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
