About The Position

Planet 13 is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Tampa - Bruce B. Downs location. The role focuses on excellent customer service through education, awareness, and client solutions. The Sales Associate assists customers, verifies identification and medical cannabis card status, recommends products consistent with physician recommendations, uses Florida’s Medical Marijuana Use Registry to dispense products, processes payments, and maintains online pickup orders. Training is provided; prior medical marijuana or dispensary experience is not needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of prior customer-service experience involving direct patient or customer interaction.
Be at least 21 years old.
Ability to pass drug testing and a Level 2 Florida State background check.

Nice To Haves

Customer-service experience in specialty retail, hospitality, or health and wellness.

Responsibilities

Greet, assist, and provide information and necessary services to customers.
Verify customer identification and medical cannabis card status.
Discuss and recommend appropriate products based on the customer’s physician recommendation.
Access and properly use the state’s Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) when dispensing products.
Dispense medication and collect payment through the POS register or upon delivery using approved payment methods.
Maintain online pickup orders.
