About The Position
The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends while serving customers. The role also carries out initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes positively to the store team by consistently providing an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time position requiring 4–25 hours per week, with schedule flexibility that includes weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Requirements
- Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
- Ability to work 4–25 hours per week with schedule flexibility, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
- Focus on full-price selling while staying aware of product value and promotions.
- Handle customer situations according to policy, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership in escalated cases.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness to support a safe working and shopping environment.
- Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
- Comply with Loss Prevention policies and report violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
- Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
- Participate in company and store contests and events.
- Stay current on financial goals and priorities.
- Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
- Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
- Represent the PacSun brand through enthusiasm for its products, brands, fashion, and trends.
- Contribute to a positive working environment by exhibiting core value behaviors.
- Maintain the company's fashion image by following Employee Appearance Guidelines.
- Show willingness and initiative to learn about products, brands, fashion, and trends.
- Work to improve individual performance as a productive team member.
