About The Position
A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate helps maintain visual standards, stock and organize merchandise, support shipments and pricing, and keep the sales environment neat and orderly while following company policies and assisting in reducing theft. The position requires working in a fast-paced retail environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation is required.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and to work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Use fashion and trend knowledge to recommend appropriate merchandise, meet customer needs, and build customer relationships while maintaining DTLR standards.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
- Comply with company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
- Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
- Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
