About The Position
A Part-Time Sales Associate drives selling efforts and customer relationships through customer service and selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising, product sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are the most important aspects of the position. The associate displays basic fashion and trend knowledge, helps customers select appropriate merchandise, and builds customer relationships while maintaining DTLR standards. The position also assists with shipments, merchandising, restocking, pricing, store organization, and theft prevention; follows company policies and visual standards; and participates in service training and product programs. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service, accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and sell appropriate merchandise while building customer relationships and maintaining DTLR standards.

- Comply with company policies.

- Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
