About The Position

As a Relationship Banker in a Chase branch, you represent the Chase brand and culture by providing welcoming, attentive service and using banking solutions and financial technology to support clients. You take a lead role in acquiring, managing, and retaining client relationships, using financial knowledge to recommend thoughtful solutions that address clients’ financial needs and contribute to branch success.

The position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on JPMorgan Chase’s review of relevant background, credit, NMLS, and other information. The role also requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act, with successful registration immediately after starting employment and timely annual renewals and updates as required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or a related industry, with demonstrated success establishing clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client experience.
• Excellent in-person and telephone communication skills, including the ability to tailor product and service features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate within established risk parameters and meet internal and external risk and compliance obligations, including completing required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, applicable state registration (including Series 63 if required), and Life licenses. Unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire; study materials and support are provided.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Meet Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements; a felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies applicants.
• Register with or update the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) immediately after starting employment and comply with SAFE Act registration, annual renewal, and update requirements.

• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients about banking solutions.
• Collaborate with and connect clients to team experts for specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
