About The Position
The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. Duties may include greeting customers, answering product-related questions, operating the cash register, assembling products, and performing general housekeeping. The role also involves pricing and stocking merchandise, receiving and organizing freight, assisting with cycle counts, answering phone calls, handling cash accurately, and processing customer returns. Pay is $15.00–$16.00, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
- Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Assist with receiving freight and organize incoming products as directed by store management.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
