About The Position

A part-time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. The position emphasizes customer service, sales, and teamwork. Associates help maintain visual standards, stock and organize merchandise, support inventory accuracy, and contribute to a neat and orderly sales environment while following company policies and training programs.

Requirements

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sell appropriate merchandise while building customer relationships and maintaining DTLR standards.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
• Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
