About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of each product area or department, promotion of sales and merchandise, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual standards. The Sales Associate represents the organization and brand by creating a distinctive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The position also supports daily store operations and works to meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during busy periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in applicable manuals and communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods using product knowledge guidance.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks.
