Sales Associate (Full-Time) - Farm - Dickinson, ND
About The Position
The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service in the Farm, Pets, and Hardware areas. Duties may include greeting customers, cashiering, answering product questions, assembling products, housekeeping, and other tasks assigned by the manager. The position involves an irregular work schedule in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. The company will consider reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to bend and twist frequently.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with customer service questions.
- Price merchandise and make price changes as requested by store management.
- Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Assist with receiving freight and organizing incoming products as directed by store management.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Benefits
- Benefits package available with 30 or more hours per week.
- $2.00 per hour premium pay for weekends.
