About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The associate is knowledgeable about each product area or department, upholds the policies, procedures, and standards in the visual manual, and fully promotes sales and promotions. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the associate creates a distinctive customer experience to acquire and retain customers, while promoting merchandise and delivering outstanding service. This role is part of store operations and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by maintaining accurate and effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
