About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. The role requires knowledge of each product area or department in the store, adherence to policies, procedures, and visual standards, and active promotion of sales and promotions. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate creates a distinctive customer experience to help acquire and retain customers. The position focuses on outstanding customer service and merchandise promotion.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and helping multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend all staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by maintaining effective internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks.
