About The Position

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and applying effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. The position emphasizes customer service, sales, and teamwork. The associate helps customers select appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and restocking, follows visual standards, maintains an organized sales floor, and complies with company policies. The role also involves completing service training and product programs and assisting with theft prevention. The associate must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and meet the listed physical demands. Requirements

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Use fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs by selling appropriate merchandise, maintaining DTLR standards, and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and maintain a positive attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
