Sadler's Outlet Sales Associate
About The Position
Sadler’s Outlet Sales Associates help customers discover furniture that suits their style, needs, and budget. They welcome customers, listen to their needs, guide them through the showroom, and provide information about the products sold. No prior furniture or sales experience is required; the company provides in-house training and opportunities for advancement. Associates learn about products through informative meetings with manufacturer representatives. During the initial 120-day training period, pay is guaranteed at $1,680 per pay period. After training, associates may remain on the guaranteed pay or earn commissions on sales.
Requirements
- Ability to listen to and understand customer needs.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment while also working independently.
- Ability to learn the POS system and general computer programs.
- Ability to move around the showroom floor, including frequent walking, bending, sitting, and kneeling.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and a background check.
